Short Bio
I come from Grevena, a small town in northern Greece. I studied Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while for my Master’s studies, I moved to Heraklion and joined University of Crete. My master thesis focused on the dynamics of bacterial proteins, aiming to identify novel inhibitors and investigate their effect on protein dynamics, with the goal of developing potential antibiotics. During my studies, I became fascinated by enzymes and their wide range of applications. Outside the lab, I enjoy reading, hiking and playing chess.
In May 2026, I started my PhD in the Paradisi Group. My current research focuses on halogenases, combining immobilization strategies with flow biocatalysis techniques.
