Short Bio
After a few years in Argentina, I returned to Spain to study Biological Sciences. In a fungal lab, I had my first taste of research and fell in love with microorganisms. I then specialized in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology, working on sustainable aviation fuels and novel antibiotics against resistant pathogens. I wanted to join HaloVerse because I’ve always aimed to bridge academia and industry to create a better world (especially through microbiology). If life had gone differently, I’d probably be a politician, as I love public speaking and debating. I’m also an aviation geek! I know every plane model by heart, have a massive passion for the Airbus A350, and am constantly checking Flightradar24. I would’ve loved to be an aerospace engineer, but my dislike for maths killed that dream. Instead, I compensate for that passion by traveling, hitting the beach or “destroying” friends during board games. My post-DN goal is to join the R&D department of a pharmaceutical company, though I’d also love towork on sustainable aviation fuels.
